Given the recent weather conditions it seemed rather appropriate to do a quick post about how to stay warm and stylish this season, because if you are anything like me the snow can cause some huge wardrobe disasters (plus I am going to New York in two weeks and need to organise my shopping list ASAP).
Luckily for us though the shops have some amazing old English inspired collections this year – think oversized knit wear, tweed, tartan, bomber jackets, and wellies in a rich palette of rustic green, berry, navy and camel. This is also very apt with the recent Royal engagement of William and Kate too, which has left fashionistas searching for traditional British buys which ooze an aristocratic vibe.
These trends always seep into the shops around this time of year, but it seems they fit the bill perfectly with the freezing and snowy weather we have at the moment – after all this is the nearest we have ever got to a white Christmas so why not enjoy it while it lasts?
Here are some of my favourite winter warmers to keep you toasty this season, but always remember layering is the key…
*Fashion Tip: To instantly dress-up casual separates add your favourite crystal and diamond jewellery to your outfit, guaranteed to have you sparkling in the snow!
Topshop have also recently re-launched their own range of ski wear adequately named SNO, so if you fancy being ultra fashionable on the slopes check out the collection online now!
