Those of you who know me well will know that I am in love with smokey eyes – blue, grey, eyeliner and lots of mascara for a night out (a little more sedate for the daytime). Not being a huge foundation girl – even though I praise my primer and tinted moisturiser my eyes are probably the one area I spend the most time on (bar the hair).
I am therefore a little bit in love with the new Giorgio Armani Night Shades ‘Nocturnal’ collection for fall 2010, with deep berry purples, crimson reds, midnight blues, cocoa browns, moonlight silver, neon pinks and the classic and sophisticated noir. Awaken your inner rock-chick, and party-girl goddess, and set free some starry-eyed romance with a new eye shade, mascara or lipstick this coming season.
The collection is inspired by the beauty of the night sky and city skyline, and is guaranteed to add some mystery to your make-up bag this fall.
NIGHT QUEEN BLUSH – two-tone rose-pink and raspberry.
NIGHT QUEEN PALETTE – Deep sea blue, cocoa, ice and moonlight silver.

High street lovers (and those of us who cannot afford a designer lifestyle – just yet I hope) should look for items in similar shades on popular cosmetic stands found in department stores, Boots and Superdrug to work this glam-grunge and edgy but elegant palette into our wardrobes over the coming months.
