Had someone asked me a couple of years ago if I liked leopard print I would have answered, without hesitation, with a very resounding and firm no. However last night I teamed a leopard print tunic dress from Topshop with a high waisted skirt and black beads, could it just be that my fashion sense has become somewhat more daring? or has there been a leopard print revolution? My visions of leopard print used to resemble Bett Lynch from Coronation Street and yet today you can find some leopard print-ness in most high street stores as well as on the pages of high street – high-end fashion magazines, from MORE! to ELLE (and my wardrobe).
Underwear, swimwear, dresses, cardigans, shoes, coats (think the faux fur trend over winter last year) and alice bands, with small print, large print, pink print, traditional print. These are just some of the leopard print items you can find in the shops at the moment, so if you are a leopard print virgin maybe it is time for you to get in touch with your wild side.
Here is the best of leopard print from the high street…(apologies for all the links on these posts I can only use images from certain shops)
